Welcome to the USS Sentinel

The year is 2389, and the state of the galaxy is poor.

It has only been a year since the destruction of Romulus in the Hobus hypernova and the Romulan Star Empire has resealed its borders, the Klingons have erupted into a civil war and the Gorn have invaded the Canterra sector. Starfleet's Task Force 93 is now responsible for safeguarding the Raeyan Transit Corridor and keeping the peace; it is a trying time for the three major powers of the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

I am Commander Diane Shelby, Commanding Officer of the federation starship USS Sentinel. The Sentinel is an Intrepid Class starship that is part of Task Force 93's 'Themis Task Group' in Bravo Fleet. We may from time to time team up with a fleet-aligned ship for missions but, for the most part, we sim on our own. As the Federation's focus slowly shifts back to its original mandate of exploration the Sentinel will serve on the front line in her role as a Long Range Exploration vessel.

So, welcome to our wonderful simulation! If we have tantalised your creative mind or you just want to join us and find out how everything pans out then why not join our crew? At the moment most major positions are available for the taking so head up to the top of the page and hit 'Join', fill out an application form and lets see where the future takes us!

Welcome, and I hope to write with you soon!

G'day guys and girls, your ever-faithful CO here!

Wow, we've been going application crazy! We've now hit a comfy seven players (including myself) and to say that I'm happy is a very large understatement. I am thrilled to have all of you here, so without any further a due, lets roll out the welcome wagon!

We have been joined by...

*** Teresa, playing Lieutenant Hunter Washington - Chief Security/Tactical Officer

*** Paul, playing Lieutenant Oliver Ross - Chief Operations Officer

*** Tom, playing Lieutenant (JG) Rizena Virodin - Chief Science Officer

*** Rachel, playing Lieutenant T'sa - Chief Diplomatic Officer

*** jagsthepanda, playing Lieutenant Michael Lee - Chief Medical Officer

This also comes as a reminder to everyone that you need to head over to our page on the Bravo Fleet website (located here: http://www.bravofleet.com/game/6762/) and hit 'Apply' next to your position. Unfortunately, this is something I cannot do for you, you need to get this done. Same goes if you've applied to the Bravo Fleet site but haven't done so here on our website. This has to be done by you also.

AAANNNDDD......don't forget to check out the USS Sentinel Discord server! This is a home for you all to talk sim stuff, random stuff, whatever you want really! Check it out here: https://discord.gg/S9xWw75

Anyway, I'm sorry for not being around for most of December and January (work has been tough, as has trying to run my YouTube channel as well. Unfortunately, simming had taken a back seat. But I'm here, I'm not going anywhere, and I hope you're all as excited for what's in store for the Sentinel as I am!

Peace out!

» Welcome to the reborn USS Sentinel / New Crew!

Posted on Mon Nov 27th, 2017 @ 2:32pm by Commander Diane Shelby in Sim Announcement

Hello one and all!

Welcome to the USS Sentinel; a Star Trek simm which has been around since 2007 (holy crap, thats ten years....). I am Nathan, and I have been the CO of this simm for about five of those ten years. Earlier this year I made the decision to shut the simm down but now we are reborn! We have been gratefully accepted into Bravo Fleet where we will begin to once again pave new inroads in the Star Trek universe. I invite all who read this who are not already players to hit that Join button and come with us as we explore the cosmos!

To top our restart off, we have already been joined by two new crew members! Please welcome Lieutenant Commander Andrew Harrington aboard as our new Executive Officer, and Lieutenant T’Mia who joins us as our Chief Flight Control Officer/Second Officer! Welcome to you both, I hope you will be with us for years to come!

Once again, welcome one and all!

Nathan
